From: Multi-modal imaging and anatomic classification of the white dot syndromes

Multiple evanescent white dot syndrome. A 26-year-old woman presented with mildly decreased vision and photopsias. Fluorescein angiography revealed early hyperfluorescent lesions in a wreathlike configuration (top left) which persist into the late phase (top right). Optical coherence tomography shows disruption of the ellipsoid zone, and accumulation of hyperreflective material that rests on the RPE and extends anteriorly through the interdigitation zone, ellipsoid zone, and outer nuclear layer (bottom right)
